Wildcat XPL Flashlight

Malkoff Devices Wildcat Flashlight.  The Cool Variant produces produces 1100 (measured) Out The Front Lumens at turn on and 950 (measured) continuous Out The Front Lumens. 

The Neutral Variant Hi-CRI (90 CRI) produces 900 (measured) Out The Front Lumens at turn on and 800 (measured) continuous Out The Front Lumens.

The Flashlight utilizes a 10 degree Optic with a 5 degree diffuser.  The Lux is 5500 at one meter (cool) and 4000 (neutral).  This is a real room/warehouse lighter.  The LED is a Cree XP-L.  It will easily light objects at 150+ feet.  It has a High/Low Switch installed and ready to go.  The High/Low output is controlled by head rotation.  The low output is approximately 65-75 lumens depending on batteries used.  The On/Off switch is a forward clicky with momentary function.

The input voltage is 7 - 12 Volts. 

The current draw at 9v is 1500ma.

The current draw at 12v is 1000ma.

It can use three to four primary lithium CR123 batteries or two Li-ion rechargeable batteries.  The runtime on high is approximately 1 hr 15 minutes minutes with two 3500 mah 18650's.  Three CR123 primaries will provide about 20-30 minutes of continous full output.  Four CR123 primaries will provide about 45-60 minutes full output runtime.

With the MDX3 Body it is 7-1/2 inches in length with a 1 inch body diameter and 1.83 inch head diameter.  With the MDX4 Body it is 8-3/4 inches in length.

It is constructed of 6061 T6 Aluminum with Type III Black HA finish.  It is fully O-Ringed for weather tightness.  A shatter resistant Acrylic Lens is included.

This Head was designed for rugged service from the ground up.  It is fully potted to stand up to rough service and recoil.

Things to Know Before Purchase:

The input voltage is 7 to 12 volts.  Exceeding 14v may damage the head

The head is protected against reverse polarity.
