MDX2 Body, Head, and Tailcap

Malkoff MDX2 (Black Type III HA) Flashlight body, head, and tailcap only.  This is not a working flashlight.  It does not include a Dropin (light engine).  It is a three piece (head, body, and tailcap) flashlight, made of 6061 T6 Aluminum.  The switch is a McClicky forward clicky.  The body is O-Ringed and Gasketed for weather-tightness.  Type III Anodizing is utilized on exterior.

It was primarily designed for use with a single protected 18650 rechargeable cell. It will also  work with two CR123 primary cells, but you may need to stretch the spring (in the head) to accommodate the shorter length (of the cells). 

The head does include a lens and head gasket.  It was specially designed for M61 Dropins.  The M61 is held securely in the head (against the lens and sealing gasket) with a threaded retaining ring.

MDX Titanium Pocket Clip: The pocket clip will be installed if purchased on this page. Designed to fit between the Body and Tailcap of the Malkoff MDX Series Bodies. MDX/MDM4 Tempered Glass Lens Kit (Ultra Clear): The tempered glass kit will be installed if purchased on this page. This is a 26.4 x 1.6 mm Tempered and AR Coated (UCL) Glass Lens for the MDX Head. Visible Light Transmissibility is 98%. This lens is chemically strengthened, aka chemically tempered, as opposed to heat tempered. High temperature resistance compared to standard acrylic lenses. It is more scratch resistant that float glass. Sold HERE.
