MDX-M91T Throw Head

This is the Malkoff M91T (Throw) preloaded in a MDX Head.  The output is 1000 Lumens and 35K Candela.  

If the optional H/L Switch is installed (see Options above), the High/Low is controlled by head rotation.  The low output is approximately 25 lumens with three primary CR123 batteries.  The On/Off switch is a forward clicky with momentary function.

This design utilizes a tightly focused TIR optic with ample spill.  The beam is 35K Candela.  It is an outstanding medium to long range spotter.  It will illuminate objects out to 150-200 yards.

The input voltage is 5.5 - 12 volts.  The head can operate from 3-4 CR123 primary cells or 2-3 Li-ion rechargeable cells.  The current draw is approximately 1400ma at 9 volts.  The full output runtime is approximately 30-45 minutes on three CR123 primary batteries with a nice long taper as the voltage drops.  This dropin is protected against reverse polarity.

This Malkoff Device was designed for rugged service from the ground up.  It is fully potted to stand up to rough service and recoil.

MDX/MDM4 Tempered Glass Lens Kit (Ultra Clear): The tempered glass kit will be installed if purchased on this page. This is a 26.4 x 1.6 mm Tempered and AR Coated (UCL) Glass Lens for the MDX Head. Visible Light Transmissibility is 98%. This lens is chemically strengthened, aka chemically tempered, as opposed to heat tempered. High temperature resistance compared to standard acrylic lenses. It is more scratch resistant that float glass. Sold HERE.
