This Flashlight was designed for rugged service from the ground up.  It is fully potted to stand up to rough service and recoil.  This Item is Covered by Our Lifetime Warranty.

The flashlight is designed for one rechargeable protected 18650 cell or two primary CR123A cells.

If you plan to use a protected 18650 battery, be sure to purchase a MD Tube Spacer sold HERE.

The runtime is dependent on the capacity of the battery(s) used.  An approximate runtime can be figured using the following equation. 

The capacity of the battery(s) ÷ the draw = Runtime.  Then substract 15 to 20% to compensate for overall inefficiency in the system.

Example Runtime calculations:

M61 SHO using one 3500mah 18650 battery:  3.5 A ÷ 2.2 A = 1.6 hrs - 0.32 = 1.28 hrs. So expect approx. 1.25+ hrs of full output runtime.

M61 SHO using two 1500mah primary CR123 batteries: 1.5 A ÷ 1.4A = 1.07 hrs - 0.21 hrs = 0.86 hrs.  So expect approx. 30-45 minutes of full output runtime.  I'm being conservative here because of the high current draw on primary cells.

MDX Titanium Pocket Clip: The pocket clip will be installed if purchased on this page. Designed to fit between the Body and Tailcap of the Malkoff MDX Series Bodies. Material: Aerospace Grade ASTM Certified Domestic 6Al/4V titanium (50% more expensive than consumer grade titanium) insures maximum quality and consistency. Sold HERE.

MDX/MDM4 Tempered Glass Lens Kit (Ultra Clear): The tempered glass kit will be installed if purchased on this page. This is a 26.4 x 1.6 mm Tempered and AR Coated (UCL) Glass Lens for the MDX Head. Visible Light Transmissibility is 98%. This lens is chemically strengthened, aka chemically tempered, as opposed to heat tempered. High temperature resistance compared to standard acrylic lenses. It is more scratch resistant that float glass. Sold HERE.
