Malkoff Devices E2XTL Heads in Red and Green colors. These fit Surefire DF (duel fuel) Scout and our MDC 18650 Bodies. They DO NOT fit standard Scout or MDC 16650 (E-series compatible) bodies. The head is constructed of 6061 T6 aluminum and Type III Hard Black Anodized.  This design utilizes a tightly focused TIR Optic for maximum reach.

This head was designed for rugged service from the ground up. It is fully potted to stand up to rough service and recoil. This item is Covered by Our Lifetime Warranty. 

E2XTL DETAILS:

This head fits Surefire DF (duel fuel) Scout and our MDC 18650 Bodies. They DO NOT fit standard Scout or MDC 16650 (E-series compatible) bodies. The input voltage is 3.4 to 6 volts. It was designed for use with 2 primary 3v CR123 batteries or a single Li-ion 18650 or 18350 rechargeable battery.  A single LiFePO4 cell (3.2V) will not give full output. The full output runtime on two CR123 batteries is approximately 15-20 minutes. The full output runtime on a single 18650 (3500ma cell) is approximately 60-75 minutes. The LED is Red 617 nm or Green 560 nm. The exact model of the LED is a trade secret. Please read the "Things to Know Before Purchase" section before purchasing this head.

Things to Know Before Purchase:

If You Hunt Predators at 100 to 200 Yards, this is the Head for you!  

This Head is Designed for Maximum Reach in a Small Format. If You are a White Wall Hunter, This is NOT the Head For You (it does not have a beautiful, symmetrical beam on a white wall).

Our replacement head requires that the threads on your body be bare metal. Some earlier Surefire bodies did not have bare threads. If this is the case with your body, you will need to clean the anodize off of the threads.

Battery Warnings For Rechargeable Li-ion Batteries:

- Do Not overdischarge/overcharge

- Please recharge drained batteries ASAP

- Do Not short circuit

- Do Not dispose of in fire

- Do Not expose to extreme heat or water

- Please be familiar with the handling of rechargeable Lithium-ion batteries prior to their purchase

This head is PROTECTED against reverse polarity.
